SWF.one (“SWF.one”, “we”, “us”) operates the music tagging and search platform at https://swf.one. This policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. It applies to our website and application, including the optional Google Drive and Dropbox connections.
Connecting Google Drive or Dropbox is optional, and happens only when you choose to authorise it. You can use SWF.one without connecting either.
Our access is read-only. We hold no permission to create, edit, share or delete anything in your Drive or Dropbox. We use the connection to show you your files so you can choose what to bring in, and to retrieve the files you select so they can be added to your SWF.one catalogue. We do not access, index or retain anything you have not chosen to import.
You can disconnect at any time from the Integrations page, or revoke SWF.one's access directly in your Google account or Dropbox account.
Google API Services User Data Policy. SWF.one's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs to any other app will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We use Google user data only to provide the import feature you asked for. We do not transfer it to others except as necessary to provide that feature, for security purposes, or to comply with applicable law. We do not use it for advertising, and we do not use it to develop, improve or train generalised artificial intelligence or machine learning models. No human reads your Google data except with your explicit permission, for security purposes, or where the law requires it.
We use a small number of reputable providers to host and operate the platform, under contracts that require them to protect your information and to use it only on our instructions. Our infrastructure is provided by Amazon Web Services. Information may be stored and processed in the United Kingdom, the European Union and the United States, which means your information may be transferred outside your country of residence. Where required, such transfers are made under appropriate safeguards.
We may also disclose information where the law requires it, or to protect the rights, safety or property of SWF.one, our customers or the public.
All traffic to and from the platform is encrypted in transit, and your information is encrypted at rest — both your audio and generated files and the databases that hold your catalogue. Access is restricted to those who need it, and we review our security arrangements regularly. No system can be guaranteed completely secure, but we take these responsibilities seriously and will notify you of any breach affecting your information as required by law.
We keep your account and catalogue for as long as your account remains active. Deleting a track removes it and its associated analysis. You may ask us to close your account and delete its contents by contacting us; backups may retain data for a limited period afterwards before being cycled out in the ordinary course.
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access the personal information we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, to restrict or object to how we use it, and to receive a copy in a portable form. California residents may additionally request details of the categories and specific pieces of personal information collected, request deletion, and opt out of the sale of personal information — although, as stated above, we do not sell personal information.
To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details below. We will not treat you differently for making a request.
SWF.one is a professional tool and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.
If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page, and will notify account holders of changes that materially affect how we handle their information.
Questions about this policy, or requests relating to your information, can be sent to support@swf.one.
